ABOUT SAMINA

Hailing from Manchester, Samina headed for the bright lights of London to study design and forge a career in fashion. However, life took an interesting turn and she found herself in the broadcast industry.

Fast-forward 20 years and Samina is a successful and highly experienced broadcaster and media skills trainer with extensive knowledge of both TV and radio.

Beginning her career behind the scenes as a floor manager and a first assistant director saw her work across some of the most ground-breaking programmes on British TV, including Big Breakfast, TFI Friday, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Big Brother.

Her presenting career was launched when Ebb&Flow, a highly successful communications company, approached her to become the face of Be-Utd, a campaign to investigate race equality in the UK for the government under the leadership of Gordon Brown.

The findings from this campaign were used towards updating the Equality Bill, which became the Equality Act in 2010.

Samina went from strength to strength, contributing to the BBC Asian Network, Health Sector TV, Islam Channel and Reuters to mention a few, interviewing high profile individuals including Ed Miliband, former Labour leader; Baroness Brinton, Liberal Democrats President and Baroness Sayeeda Warsi.

Samina is also in demand as a panel moderator and event host. She has hosted the London Asian Business Awards, British Muslim Awards and Asian Wedding Awards.

She launched her production facility in 2015 creating TV  programming and video content spanning a variety of genres from corporate and documentary to online.
